Attack of the phlematic whiner

Ok, first off, let me just say I AM SOOOOOOO BORED!!!!! I have been home sick with a nasty flu bug since Saturday and I am BEYOND tired of watching TV. There's only so much Oprah and Ellen a girl can watch. I can honestly say this is the sickest I've been in a looooooooong time, I'm pooped. I had a fever for 5 days that finally broke yesterday - it was pretty scary there for a while (I didn't know adults can even get temps up to 104!), and now I'm just beat down. TMI, I realize, but I finally took a shower yesterday for the first time in who-knows-how-long and it wore me out so much, I had to take a 3 hour nap afterwards! What am I, 90 years old for pete's sake? And while I'm on this rant, let me just say a huge PPPPPHHHHHHBBBBBTTTT to the flu shot. Yah, that's right flu shot, I'm talking at you. I fling my used pile of tissues in your general direction. Why did I ever get you this year when all I've been is sick? I don't think I could GET any healthier: I work out religiously 6 days a week, take GOBS of vitamins (and poor Rob, I force them on him as well), eat super healthy and FOR WHAT??? WAH!

Clearly I'm feeling badly for myself, can you blame a girl? My sweet Rob has been on a business trip all week to Detroit and unfortunately the worst part of this whole thing? He got sick too! In DETROIT! Away from home! Poor guy, I can't wait for him to get home tonight so we can be miserable together. It's been a regular suckfest 2011, for sure.

Ok, that felt good. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. And now I'm going to go nap.

Tara's Baby Shower

My sweet friend Tara is due on March 4th and she had her baby shower last weekend. As the unofficial photographer (self-dubbed, clearly) I took a ton of pics, but instead of boring all of you with a million shots of Tara opening various gifts, I figured I'd just show the highlights.
