Beer Tour...aka neighborhood debauchery on wheels

For Christmas, all of our girls in the 'sac gave our guys a beer tour as a surprise...and then totally crashed the party by joining them.  Yup, that's how we roll.  We rented a huge party bus (complete with stripper pole, because all smart decisions happen with a stripper pole said NO ONE EVER) and went to 3 different breweries over a whole day span.  It was epic, and hilarious, and as the ONLY sober one (I was full-on mid-vertigo at that point so no booze for this already-dizzy girl), I had prime real estate to watch the whole thing go down...it was greatness fabulousville.

Here's some photos you're allowed to see.  For the rest I'd be kicked out of the 'hood.

I have no shame.  This was the running man.  Or at least my version of the running man.  While dizzy.  Be amazed, be very amazed.

New Year's Cray Cray!

Our neighbors had an awesome NYE party, and luckily it was only 3 houses down so it was easy to find our way home at 3am...ha!

The theme was Black & White and they had a cute little photo area set up with props - you know we love us some photo ops!!  Why am I such a sucker for mustaches?  I think we should explore this further....or not.

This is my favorite pic of the night....just pure insanity:

Christmas goodness

Yup, that's how far behind in blogging I am.  Well, there it is.

Before Christmas, Robbie surprised me with a lovely getaway weekend up to LA on the train to go see Handel's Messiah at the Disney Concert Hall - it was such a sweet gift! What an incredible hubby I have...I'm always such a tearful mush listening to Messiah but Rob isn't so into it...so for him to secretly plan the whole thing AND patiently sit through the whole concert (awake of all things)...best hubby ever.

Mom also came out for Christmas week and we had a great time, hanging out, going to the Gliderport, lunches/dinners, and whale watching! Here's some pics from her visit:

Long time, no blog! Quickie health update for ya....

Been out of Blogville lately because I had a setback of vertigo just after New Year's...it was so frustrating and traumatizing but I'm slowly getting better.  I was in pilates laying flat on the mat when I sat up and the whole world was spinning.  I couldn't even get out of the gym without assistance, it was so embarrassing, but luckily Rob was able to come get me right away and take me to the doctor.  Unfortunately I've had several weeks of spinny chair treatments again, and it seems like I'm recovered objectively, though I'm feeling feeling quite off and dizzy since - guess the nerve damage has had a flare up as well.  Awesomeness.

But, emotionally I'm doing ok - just staying mindful, not getting panicked about it, and not worrying about going back to square one.  I've still been working and plugging along.  Even though it's so frustrating, at least I know what to expect and it's not rocking my boat.  Well, it's literally rocking my boat, just not figuratively, ha!

And now, on to updates of what we've been up to over the past month.

But, in the meantime, please to enjoy this awesome dog shaming vid.  The stuffed animals?  OMG!!!!!  Dying.  Just dying.
