When we were in Cabo, Rob and I went on a kayaking and snorkeling trip out to the famous stone arch. We were so lucky to just be with our guide and nobody else - we felt very VIP, that's how we roll. We're really used to ocean kayaking here in La Jolla where it's super calm water but this was a pretty challenging kayaking trip. It was definitely worth it, but the water was super choppy and we had to contend with dodging water taxis and huge cruise ships on our way out. There's something pretty intimidating about kayaking right in front of a HUGE cruise ship, it makes you feel pretty tiny and hopeful the ship isn't about to start moving!
The view once we got through the choppy Bay
It was really cool, we were able to kayak right up to a rock covered with sea lions...
Once we landed on "Lover's Beach" on the Sea of Cortez side, we had a blast exploring the little caves and rock formations. It's so beautiful there!

Once we landed on "Lover's Beach" on the Sea of Cortez side, we had a blast exploring the little caves and rock formations. It's so beautiful there! The other side is called "Divorce Beach" because the Sea and the Pacific Ocean clash there and there are some pretty serious waves! We still loved eachother even more at the end of our visit to Divorce Beach, so I'd say it was a successful day. :)

Snorkeling was pretty fun - nothing coral or tropical, but tons of fish and cool underwater rock formations. Then we headed back to land...we had to cut right in front of that cruise ship behind us in this picture, yikes! What an amazing day, though...
