We always have to dress up Galileo in something - but he escaped without much torture this year. We made him our German rescue dog - he channelled his inner St. Bernard and was quite rescue'y with his little barrel of goodness. Usually he just freezes and acts paralyzed when we dress him up, but he didn't seem to mind his barrel very much.
He even got some legitimate sausage like a good German doggy.
And here's our outfits!
We went to our friend George's house for a little pre-party, here some pics from that:

Das Boot!

Kevin made us so proud - that dude had legit leather leiderhosen from Germany! George's was all fancy-pants as well. Wowza...makes my Party City number look a little cheap by comparison.

And then we were off to the Belly Up - they have an 80's cover band every year and it's such a blast seeing everybody's costumes...we had a great time. Here's some highlights:

Me and my German identical twin, Mo. Don't we look exactly alike?

I found 2 other chics with my exact same outfit, hysterical!!! I'd like to say for the record, though, Rob and I were the only ones with legitimate beer steins from Germany - wood carved to boot! So there!
