This weekend we went to a concert with our friend Kevin and his friend Deb - it was the classical guitar quartet, the Romero's, and they are so incredibly talented! It was a lovely night out. After dressing up and enjoying the concert, Kevin had arranged for us to get into a super secret bar called the Noble Experiment. Apparently you have to (1) know someone (which luckily, we know Kevin, does that count?) and then (2) know the super secret phone # that you then text a month in advance to request a reservation.
The whole thing was a riot - quite an experience. You walk through a regular bar towards the bathrooms in the back, and then push through a fake wall of kegs! Oh wait, am I going to be shot or something for posting this? Ah well....worth it just to show this is how we roll(ed) for a night. Anyhoo, no cameras were allowed in the back much to my unhappiness (don't they know I have a blog to upkeep?), so I only got this one shot in before I got busted...Kev and Deb enjoying Mint Julips.

The bar itself was super small but nice, they seemed to specialize in foofy drinks and it was just fun to do the exclusive gig for a night.
A super drunk dude from Boston took this of us on our way out - "you guys look wicked awesome!". Uh, thanks.

The funniest part of the evening was the end - when Rob and I left at 1:00 we were STARVING and hit up a taco shop on the way home. Mind you, we were both dressed to the nines, so hanging out with a bunch of wasted college kids was quite hysterical. Good times until the club next door had a ruckus (can you describe the ruckus?) and someone got pepper sprayed. By the bouncer. Which then wafted into the taco shop completely immobilizing ALL OF US. I can honestly say I've (1) never been in an exclusive behind-the scenes bar before and (2) I've definitely never been maced before. I guess there's a first time for everything.

Gin martini straight up with 3 blue-cheese stuffed olives, and you know I like it a little dirty...
