Vegas, baby, Vegas!!! (day 1)

Like the nutbags we are, after just 3 days home, we went to Vegas the weekend after Thanksgiving with a bunch of our friends and we had such a great time! A perfect mix of good friends, good food and good times...the perfect getaway.

Rob and I flew cheaply on a previously never heard of airline (to us, anyway) called Spirit Air. Seriously? The tiniest seats I've ever experienced and those lame-o's charge you to even carry bags on! The flight home was delayed by upwards of 5 hours too due to a mechanical problem and we were both asleep on the floor of the airport in Vegas at midnight on Sunday night waiting for some crystal meth tweakers to come fix our plane...but that's a whole other story for another time.

Once we got there, all was well. We met up with Jason and Lisa and started with some frozen cocktails and the Hangover movie slot machine game...and all was rectified!!!

And then we met up with Karen and Alex and had some gourmet burgers...delicious! That burger joint actually sells a burger, no joke, for $5000 complete with fois gras and a bottle of fancy pants champagne. Needless to say we didn't order that one. Pass.

That night we went to Sage, seriously one of the best restaurants ever (Rob and I went there back in April for my birthday) and again had one of the best dinners ever - rockin'! I love dressing up to go out too...

Happy bellies!
And then we were off to drinks at the Chandelier bar at The Cosmopolitan

And then to a club at the top of THE Hotel called Mix - had a great view of the strip and a WHOLE lotta crazy people watching and dancing....good times! And then way more gambling, and then we'll see you tomorrow!
