Halloweenies

Ok, so I lagged on blogging this last week. I hurt my back on Halloween weekend so the last thing I've wanted to do was sit my butt in front of a computer to blog. So, I'm just now getting to the Halloween pics, here you go. I had to take a muscle relaxant to rally and party that night, so needless so say I was a noodley mess...but still had fun despite the pain.

First we had a neighborhood block party in front of our house - we were only able to stay a few hours since we had another party to attend. The beauty part of the 2nd party was it was also in our 'hood...so nice to be able to shuffle on over there and back!

We recycled our old Octoberfest costumes and Galileo was again our trusted rescue dog. Our neighbor Jose went as "Dr. Shots" And we had a storm trooper in our mix...but otherwise the first party had nobody else in costumes - so we pretty much looked even more like weirdos than we normally do :) Melissa as the Black Swan...but WAY less nutso and much happierJay went as Captain Stubing and he had seriously the shortest shorts I've ever been...hysterical! I freakin' love this pic: Matt as Dwight Shrute, Lindsey as a cat and Pete as one of those green "whoaaaaaa" guys from Toy Story: Me with a cougar and Slash! (who, incidentally, I think nailed it - he looked more like Slash than Slash looks like Slash) And then the night went downhill from there: Me as Slash, some dude as a butterfly, you know, the usual. Leave it to the guy who's super allergic to dogs and cats to ALWAYS make best of friends with both at a party....

Ok, damn it, it's been decided. Next year I'm going to have no back pain and I'm going to be able to enjoy one of my favorite holidays in style!
