Snow Days aka Human Bowling

Just like last year, only in San Diego would we truck in fake snow on a warm sunny day in the mid 70's while people on the east coast are grumbling and digging themselves out of feet of snow.  But, regardless of the Cali insanity, we love that our neighborhood hosts this event and we have such a blast.  Thank God we have fun neighbors and we can borrow their kids to sled with.  Rob and I took a sled run together, but apparently 2 adult butts does not make a sled go fast.  Or at all.  The perfect combo is apparently adult + tiny kid = crazy speed in order to go human bowling.

When me and BatMac went down, we were going so fast, we NAILED a poor volunteer and totally knocked him down - it was hilarious.  The rest of the day, Mac kept reminiscing and the story go bigger and bigger "Ms. Beth, remember when we knocked that guy's head off?", "Ms. Beth, remember when we made that guy's face bleed?" (we didn't, btw, he was fine), and my favorite, "Ms. Beth, remember when we killed that guy?"  hahaha!  Ah, the beauty of 3 year old memory.

Here's the two adult butts in slow motion, it's not nearly as exciting as it sounds:

And Ms. Beth and BatMac as we go down our Run Of Terror.  Too bad we have no photographic evidence of said human bowling incident, but you'll just have to trust me (and BatMac), it was pretty epic.

I love how Mackie is making his arms aerodynamic right here - I fully blame him for our speed which led to the carnage.  I'm sticking with that story.
