The storming of the Steitz's!

Meg and Bill came out to stay with us for several days in honor of Bill's big birthday and we were so happy to have them. We had such a great time, of course we'd have a blast with those two regardless of what we were doing.

Bill had arranged a private tour of th Salk Institute, it was really cool!

We went on an adventure trying to find Bill's childhood homes and we actually found thm! While they were nice suburban neighborhoods back in the day, they were pretty interesting now and we found a great treasure. 

Our treasure, and I was dared to go try it out for a photo op. 

Dare success! Beth never disappoints on a dare. I could have totally been shot for this pic but it was so worth it. 

For Bill's bday dinner, we went out on the beach and celebrated Bill-style with big ol' white mustaches. When in Rome...
