I don't remember ever sitting that close to the field before, plus it was pretty cool to be that close to one of our fave players, 3rd baseman Kouzmanoff. Kooooooooooooooooooooooooozzzzzzzzz! I could have pinched his tushie we were so close. But, I restrained myself, of course.
It was pretty funny to have to be so vigilant about each and every hit - we were totally in the foul ball zone and watched a poor guy get absolutely nailed in the chest by a wicked hit. Ouch!
At one point we actually made it on the jumbo tron! We've never been on there before, and of course they caught us boogying, it was pretty funny. Of course we have no photo documentation of said jumbo tron famousness, but you'll just have to believe us. Ironically enough, our DOG has actually been on the Padres jumbo tron but this was our first crack at it. Good work, Galileo.
And of course, no game would be complete without the huge giant footlong hot dog and all the munchies. Hey, I ran 5 miles today for my marathon training, so don't judge. Slurp!

SO MUCH FUN! and the part I am most jealous of is the hot dog. Right now, 8:47 p.m. on a Sunday evening, a ballpark hotdog sounds PHENOMENAL!! Not just any old hot dog though, definitely a ballpark hot dog. But I am not supposed to eat them when preggo anyway, so such is life.
Today's word is "pathal". Beth and Rob had to be very careful so as to not be caught in the pathal of stray foul ball.
