Palm Springs is the place to be!

My good friend Sarah turned 30 last weekend in style - we went to Palm Springs for a girls getaway and had an absolute BLAST! My friend Holly's friend Kirk works at the fancy-pants Rivera Hotel there and hooked us up like the rockstars we are. :) He got us the big presidential suite (that Paris Hilton had stayed at the weekend before, seriously!) and two junior suits nearby - we were living in luxury. Our suite was right off the pool which lent itself to some awesome people watching and tanning extraordinaire plus for one of the days we had a rockin' pool cabana.

It was so much fun to hang with all the fun girls, laugh a ton, eat copious amounts of fabulous food, have some cocktails and get next to no sleep! What a blast but I tell you what, it's taken me days to recover - darn it, how old am I?

First night was fantastic sushi and then out to a club:

Our cabana came with misters thank GOD 'cause let's be honest, it's a tad hot there. Here, Holly, Carol and Sarah channel their inner pin-up girls.

My friend Holly was brilliant with all her party planning. Here's all of us in our "XXX" (30, for those non math-majors out there, hollar!) shirts for the weekend on our suite pool patio.

The second night we went to thai food then hung in our swanky hotel bar/lobby and danced ourselves silly again. Plus, the people watching was fantastic!

And of course no girls weekend would be complete without some spa time:
