It turned out to be a bday of flowers, I got some gorgeous daisies from my friends Leigh and Kevin and some hyacinths from Karen and Alex - gorgeous!

then went out to my favorite sushi place - I think we've gone to Yummy Sushi so much we're pretty much responsible for putting the owner's kids through college. But it's delicious...one might say, Yummy in fact, and totally worth it.

At the end of the night, the owners and waiters came and sang to me and made me wear the scary lice-hat (I'm such a germaphobe, I can't help but wonder how many people have freakin' worn this thing, but oh well, it's worth it). Even Rob has pimped the hat in the past. Good times. Rob also surprised me with a cookie-cake from Mrs. Fields - I can't help it, I love them.

On a whim after dinner we decided to go bowling - a nice way of working off our "food babies" and a better alternative than a carb-loaded nap. Too funny, I hadn't bowled in a long time and we had a blast.

Love those bowling shoes - the girls had to stop off at a Rite Aid to buy socks and I have to say, the naughty bunnies were a nice touch:

Everybody had their wicked bowling moves, quite impressive:

The music was great, I got a little over exuberant at one point and I didn't even realize the camera was on me until the end. And I'll have you know - I was completely sober. I swear. This video cracks me up, I'm truly the biggest dork I know.
What a great night - good times!

No pictures of the smelt egg sushi? Such a good time!
By the way, I am looking for bowling lessons if anyone knows a guy...or a girl...apparently since everyone bested me. I will entertain all offers.

Today's word is "honyawed".
Beth and Rob hit Las Vegas to renew their vows. Before proceeding, the officiant said "Honyawed this guy 10 years ago, areyasure you want to do it all over again?"
