Ok, I'm a little behind.

Take a journey back in your memory with me, WAY back to December 09. I know it was a long time ago, but bear with me, we've got a lot going on so I'm still trying to get caught up on my blogosphere. Full disclosure, these are all my friend Paige's pictures, we didn't bring our camera that day, plus her's rules - I have total camera envy.

The day after Christmas, we went with our friends to Disneyland to celebrate our friend Sean's Bday. I think Rob could pass on any more Disneyland trips for a while, but I freakin' love it there, I can't help it.

We did the typical Disneyland things and it was great fun. Sean and Paige's son, Carter is such a fun age now to be able to ride some kiddie rides and you can tell he's really into it. He didn't even mind my driving!

He loved Dumbo...but maybe not as much as his Daddy or me:
The Storybook (or fairy tale, I always forget) boat ride is pretty lame for "big kids" but fun to see through Carter's eyes, plus our guide was pretty funny.

Small World is so flipping boring we had to spice it up a bit:
Dave, Mary and their daughter Catherine joined us later and Catherine had her first entry into a real roller coaster, the Matterhorn - what a big girl! Not sure if she was really liking it - check out her cute serious face!

Rob seemed to have fun, though.
After that were some adult rides: Space Mountain and California Screamin' - love that ride but it gives me a heart attack when it takes off, yikes. Love this pic of us, Sean looks so serious, Rob looks like a pirate, clearly Craig is into it, and I think that's my happy mouth:
We checked out the new 3-D ride in Cali Adventures, kinda fun!
At the end of the night we had a really special opportunity to check out Disneyland's private exclusive club, Club 33. It's a Membership only situation and Melissa was able to get us in because she works for Chevron who has a corporate membership there - this truly was such a once in a lifetime opportunity! We've heard Membership costs around $10,000 a year, so clearly that ain't happening for any of us, ever.

It's kind of fun going there, a small discrete doorbell in the New Orleans area will notify them that you're there, then they kind of sneak you into the restaurant, very hush hush and fun. Here's us waiting:
and me showing off my new hat yet again. Jealous? Hey, I was super warm, that hat is the best.

They served a super fancy several-course meal and everything inside had such neat details:
Dinner was delicious
and afterwards we enjoyed roaming around and learning about all the secret hidden rooms and stuff that Walt Disney had designed. We learned that Walt had put microphones throughout the dining rooms so the diners would be continually surprised by things being brought to them that they didn't even order but had talked about, but apparently after Watergate it was decided those microphones were a no-go. They're still hidden around, though, so that was fun to check out.
Carter and Catherine seemed pretty into it. They're so freakin' cute and we've all decided they should have an arranged marriage now.

The guys:

The end!
