Putt & pamper are now 2 of my favorite words

We went to Indian Wells for a quickie getaway last weekend with our good friends - we went for Jason Reynold's birthday, along with his wife Lisa and our other friends Jason and Tara. We stayed 2 nights at the Mira Monte resort in Palm Desert for their "Putt & Pamper" package - the greatest thing ever. The dudes went golfing, while we girls hit up the spa and gym.

Rob and I drove up the 15 after work on Friday afternoon and needless to say traffic was horrific, so we stopped off for some ribs in Temecula - slurp! After staying up late chatting (and getting woken up by our next door neighbors but that's a whole other story that I won't bore you with), the guys were off to some golf! Alex drove up for the day to join the dudes, 2 hours each way, now THAT'S dedication to golf!
Here's some pics from golfing - looks like a great course but I still think hanging at the spa was the better deal :)

Of course, no pics of the spa but just rest assured we had a great time. We had a delicious breakfast, then a rockin' workout, and REALLY earned our laziness at the spa - it was quite delicious. I had a hot stone massage that made me melt into butter and a great pedi to boot. Throw in a killer sauna/steam room and I was like a noodle.

Saturday night we all went out for dinner at Roy's. Between birthday celebrating (Reynold's) and cocktails, needless to say, it got a little silly.

Here the birthday boy shows off his personalized birthday menu:
And here's while it was still a classy crew, ha!:

Other than that edamame pod in Jason's nose, the whole dinner was delicious! Lobster bisque to die for, short ribs that make you want to slap...oh wait....and, a chocolate souffle that was downright sinful. Good times, man I love our friends. And souffle.

I know it is probably much funnier if you were there, but I have this annoying habit of yelling everyone's names like I'm Oprah. Here's a few videos of the Oprah yell catching on...(it's addictive, just try it, you'll see)
