House update: We have....disappointment :(

Well, the house visit yesterday certainly started out quite promising. Driving up, we were super stoked to see we had all sorts of hardscape in front, and it seems like they're working on the landscaping, or at least the sprinkler system. Check it out, we have an honest to goodness driveway! We have some stairs going up the sidewalk to the front door, pretty cool!
And also some concrete on the front porch.
Look, we have fences! The gate is on the east side of the house, where the trash cans will likely be kept.

Strangely, we have no gate at the front door, I guess for safety or something.
We also have a big ol' A/C unit: We were also excited to see we have the outside coach lights up, a few in front, and a few in back, they're beautiful!!!
Added bonus, a new gorgeous address plate as well!
And the piece de la resistance...our courtyard concrete is done! woohoooo!!! All the concrete is a pretty brownish redish color, it's cool.A fun addition to the day...Karen, Alex and Bob the Builder aka Bennett and our surrogate parents, Tim and Linda joined us for a peek at the house....and that's when the big wah wah happened.

WE WERE LOCKED OUT OF OUR HOUSE!

The sales people did their best to try to get us in but for some reason, their keys weren't working. No one knew if the head contractor changed the locks, or the keys weren't properly matched, but we never got in!Our guests rolled with the punches and peeked in all the windows to get an idea of the place.
And we waited, and waited.Bennett rang the new doorbell (!) but unfortunately, no one was home to let us in. :(We did break into the garage (hey, don't judge: it's ours, dangit!) and saw we now have the tankless hot water heater.poo!!! I even glimpsed our chandeliers inside, dangit....but I guess we have to wait until next weekend! Wah wah wah....Hey Rob, tell us how you feel about this situation:
Sorry folks, park's closed!
