Every girl needs a bike:

I got a bike for my birthday and after numerous test drives and decisions, we finally picked it up this weekend and took it to Lake Miramar for a test-drive.  Poor Rob has had a  bike for months and has been patiently waiting until I got mine - and we were ready to roll!!!

 Isn't she pretty?  She's all white, a hybrid road bike with carbon fork and blah blah blah other stuff I have no clue about, but she's lots of fun. 

 Woohooo!!!  It was such a gorgeous day - sunny and beautiful out, just like summer.  We did 2 laps around, so 10 miles.  Hopefully we'll be able to build up to more eventually, but it was a great workout (especially considering we'd slaved away in our backyard for like 5 hours that morning, whew!)
