My Birthday Pool Party

I recently celebrated my 3rd anniversary of my 29th birthday by having a pool party instead of my usual beach bonfire celebration...just to mix it up and keep ya guessing. It was sunny and gorgeous for weeks before my birthday right on up until the day before and THEN (you guessed it), it was pretty freezing and overcast that day. We still had a blast but most of us just ended up in the hot tub with only a few brave (or crazy, you decide) people going in the pool. I've decided, you just haven't lived until you've been surrounded by 20 of your closest friends all squeezed into a medium sized hot tub. Life is good - as always, I LOVE to be surrounded by good friends on my birthdays...it's the perfect way to celebrate and remind myself how truly blessed I am to have such great buddies.

I find it pretty funny that my two friends Mo and Leigh are totally bundled in sweaters while I'm in my swimsuit and towel. And check out our friends' new lab puppy Jake, he's freakin' adorable and was definitely the hit of the party.
