Pageant of the Masters

Every summer there's a wonderful tradition in Laguna Beach called the Festival of the Arts - a day long art show and festival with tons of amazing local artists. We love going and ending the night at the Pageant of the Masters - a "living art show" (for those of you not local and saying "huh?", check this out): It's simply amazing and describing it does not do it justice.
First some beach time and picnic lunch:

At the art festival, I even was able to do tap into my inner 5 year old art self and do some art myself! It was tile etching and it turned out pretty cool if I do say so myself...I'm thinking Christmas gifts ha!, just kidding, nobody's getting any gifts this year... :)

Then some sushi before the show - slurp!

The sunset:

There are no cameras allowed in the actual show at the end of the night, so you'll just have to use your imagination. Imagine any intricate sculpture or painting with actual people holding still for 2 minutes - it's breathtaking! They always end with the Last Supper - it's pretty cool. How they make these images look "flat" or one-dimensional is mind-boggling!

As always, here's more pics:
