POW #3

This week's Picture O' The Week comes to you from Alaska - shout out to my brother, sister in law and niece! We were in Alaska for our 5 year anniversary, so that means it was Fall, 2004. We had such a blast together on a cruise (and extended our trip before up to Denali and afterwards in Vancouver, eh?). We did tons of stuff: went horseback riding (with a view of Mt. McKinley, breathtaking!), kayaking (ask us about our once-in-a-lifetime whale encounter sometime, it was seriously amazing!), butt-clenching helicopter ride up a glacier, hiking, and of course tons of pigging out and gambling (shocker!) on board the boat. But most importantly, we came across the coolest street sculpture in Vancouver of a Killer Whale dressed up as Elvis - freakin' awesome. Since my Orca left me, dun dun, I found a new place to dwell, dun dun...
