Day 2 of Thanksgiving in Colorado

Day 2 was all about good friends - we spent the day with Nicole, Chad, and their new baby Karaline. I couldn't wait to meet her, I've been waiting a whole 3 1/2 months and that's WAY too long to meet my new little buddy!!!
She's so precious and is at such a fun age - sitting up, smiling, and she even rolled over! Here's Karaline showing me her mad skills.
It's so much fun to watch Nicole and Chad become parents - they're falling into their new roles seamlessly and I'm so impressed with the 2 of them. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't choked up a few times watching my sweet Nicole as a Mom - she's the best, utterly devoted to that little girl.
The time spent was way too short, as always, but I do know we'll be in her life forever. Here's a video of me and Karaline dancing, she's got great moves:

And of course we couldn't ignore our god-dogs....love Rascal and Rudy

That night we spent with Jeff, Judi, Owen and Willett - we just adore those 4 and anytime spent with them is such precious time. Willett is such a happy, chill little dude - content to sit and watch the world go by around him.

Owen is such a blast - he's crazy smart and so very observant. He's such a great little reader too, and so much fun to play with.We also took a walk down to their playground again...
...but mostly we just did some quality hanging out, what we do best.We love our good friends, if you can't tell, and had some great chats with everybody, as always. It always feels like too short of time with all of these guys, but hopefully we'll get to see them again soon enough...or we'll just have to resort to kidnapping.
