Anyhoo, last weekend our friends Karen and Alex hosted one of the best parties EVER - their 2nd annual Tacky Holiday party. They completely raised the bar by hiring a DJ, it turned what is always a good time at their house into a dance party USA!
People also completely showed up in style, WAY outdoing themselves with costumes even better than last year. Rob and I opted for "naughty tacky": Rob was Santa Pimp and I was his Ho Ho Ho! (Mom and Dad, I know you must be so proud of your little girl, ha!).
Rob stayed in character all night...I think my favorite part of his costume was his candy cane cane...he really worked that thing!
My costume on the other hand, was purchased for super cheap from EBay - I thought I had scored on the "one size fits all" Santa's Helper costume until the dang thing arrived in the mail. I should have noticed the small print that it was made in China - clearly that thing was "one size fits all Chinese women" because it was super tiny!!! I had full intentions of wearing my cape all night long to cover up, but when it got too hot with all the boogying, I just threw caution to the wind and bared all.
But hey, it worked! Rob won the best (or worst, I guess, depending on your point of view) costume prize....a Snuggie! If that doesn't class up the outfit, I don't know what does. And by the way, why does Jason have my cape on here?
