The Hoeltings come to town!

For once, a non-house blog post, can you believe it?!?! It was a self-imposed blogging intervention, there's only so much framing and foundation that are interesting to people, methinks. Anyhoo, our good friends from Colorado came to visit the last 2 weekends and we had such a great time visiting with them. It's so neat to see their kiddos grow up before our eyes and to be able to spend so much time with them over the years.

Here's some of the highlights:
The first day we got together with the Hoeltings, we took them to lunch on the beach at one of our favorite Mexican spots.
It was a super chilly and windy day...(Morgan's "cousin It" impression slays me)

...but the kiddos still loved running around the sand and throwing rocks in the ocean. I grabbed a few videos of it, it was too cute. Here's Zach's mad throwing skills, you can hear how crazy the wind was, sounds like our wedding video!:

Then one day we headed out to Sea World - it's always so fun to see through kid's eyeballs.

Amanda seemed to love interacting with the rays...

...while Zach seemed totally into Moray eels. Some shenanigans:

The polar bears were too cute, laying in the water and spooning together:

And then finally, another beach day but this time it was glorious weather!
