Ok, so we were in Nebraska for a whole weekend so we missed our very first weekend of going out to the house, and holy cow have things been moving and shaking since we were last there! We took our friends Aaron and Mo out with us this weekend to check the place out, and MAN were we surprised by all the changes. 
The entire outside of the house is now covered with black stuff, apparently a water proofing situation...plus we now have some roof tiles ready to be installed! It's all happening!!!
We also have windows and doors - it's amazing how little touches like that make such a difference esthetically...it really looks like a house now. A big black house, but still, a house.
We also have our two fireplaces and have since learned that the inside one is gas-only, the outside one can either be gas or wood - kinda cool!

Our bathtubs have also been installed and filled with water - I can't wait to take a long soak in this big ol' master bath tub, I haven't had a big tub like that since I was a kiddo! Hopefully they'll clean it first... :)
Here, Aaron admires our "landscaping" - our big huge weed that apparently is going to come free with the house. We shall call him Walter the killer Weed.
We also had our first official walk through yesterday which means they're ready to slap the drywall up - it was really neat to walk around with the construction super and ask questions and learn all about the wiring and plumbing, etc. Hopefully next weekend we'll get to see drywall! Stay tuned...
