The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire! (ok, not really)

We have a roof! Our good friends Jeff and Judi came into town last weekend with their boys and Jeff's parents and it was amazing to see them. More on that later, this is a quickie house blog update before we head out of town to Nebraska tomorrow.

We dropped by our house in a total unauthorized visit since we went after hours, thus, no swanky hard hats....I felt naked somehow doing the obligatory outside shot - don't tell OSHA.
Just like with Ben and Laura, it was so much fun to show Jeff and Judi around our new house - the next time they come out, it'll be all done! It's especially cool since Jeff is in the biz, he certainly knew a lot of stuff professionally but with all the remodeling Jeff and Judi have done, they're both pro's at this point. Here's Jeff and Rob appearing quite serious, surveying all aspects of the place.

Ok, not so much...
Judi weighs in on it and checks out the bathroom she'll be using next time.
We had some new random graffiti, some work related (but awesomely misspelled, this is supposed to be the xmas TIMER)

I mean, for pete's sakes, somebody already broke in our toilet without our permission. :)

and finally, we snuck into our neighbor's place across the cul-d-sac (again, you don't say anything to OSHA and I'll automatically forget all the dirt I have on you) to check out their WINDOWS (woot!) and grabbed this shot of our place from theirs: I think our place kicks our next door neighbors' butts. :)
