a great weekend!

We had a non-stop weekend, and I'm absolutely pooped. What better way to recuperate and cope through my Sunday-night blues then to post pics from our fun.

Saturday we met up with our friends for some beer and pizza at Pizza Port - love that place. Alex's parents, Linda and Tim, were in town and we just absolutely adore them. We had such a blast seeing them, hanging with Karen and Alex, and seeing Jason and Lisa.
Of course, there was some Bennett snuggle time.

Saturday night we celebrated our friend Marley's birthday and her husband Dave's graduation from nursing school.

We stuffed our faces, played some bocce ball, and then stuffed our faces some more.Rob and Kevin scheming about Vegas already...look at those guilty faces.

Galileo had a blast - he was playing with a bunch of little doggies all night and was absolutely worn out at the end of the night. He's acting like a hungover frat guy today, lounging around the house and barely moving a muscle. Here he's subtly trying to blend in at the dinner table, hoping nobody will notice he's not just a furry human and accidentally serve him some delicious grub.
Here's some of us girls sampling the ice cream extravaganza...intestinal distress be damned! :)
And, in some post-sugar high ice cream-induced lunacy, we thought we'd take some hot pics.

Or maybe just a whole lot of crazy. What the?

Today I had a chance to reconnect with an old friend of mine from Junior High and High School - I've known Julia since 7th grade and haven't seen her in probably 15 or so years, craziness! It was great to see her, meet her hubbs and kids - sweet Rob was so patient of us yakity-yaking for hours about memories.

Here's us way back when we were heading to prom in '92 (wow, those are some serious bows and strap lines!)

and here's us today! Luckily, I look less orange and Julia looks just as fabulous, hasn't aged a bit.

Julia looks like her mother! What warm memories of that wonderful family. So glad you reconnected.
