House update: Railings, cabinets and doors, oh my!

*please note, we finally wore Rob down and forced the poor guy to wear the pink hardhat*

Holy moly - this week's house visit had the most amount of change we've seen in 7 days....like always, it was so emotional and fun to be there but this time was crazy fun! We kept running from room to room yelling "look at this, babe!"
We have the rock facade on the garage, and it's gorgeous. We have shutters too! They've also done all the outside window casings. Here's a view of the front door pathway:We have a front door!!! Welcome to our house. It was actually kind of funny - there's doors everywhere but no doorknobs yet, so the wind kept blowing doors shut while we were there, which made us keep freaking out and jumping. Here's hoping for doorknobs next weekend!
The railings are GORGEOUS, I'm sooooo glad we sprung for those, they're beautiful. They're going to eventually stain the wood to match our espresso cabinets.
We have a squatter too...look at this beautiful web! Help yourself to all the bugs you want, little spider, you can live here rent-free if you do us that solid.
They also did all the baseboards and door trims, looks like they have holes to patch but I think they're beautiful: And, drum roll please....we have kitchen and bathroom cabinets! Here they are in the kitchen: I'm so glad we upgraded to the shaker cabinets, it's definitely more our style than the fancier beveled ones they offered as a standard. Love the color we picked too!!!
Here's our counter island-bar with the sink and dishwasher eventually. (slurpee sold separately)They also did our fireplaces, they're beautiful! Here's the living room one: and the outside courtyard one:

Ooooohhhhh, and one of my favorite rooms of the house is starting to come together: I LOVE LOVE LOVE our master closet! Welcome to my new happy place, you're welcome to visit any ol' time:

Master bath cabinets: Spare bedroom #1 closet: Laundry room sink and cabinets:
Oh, and on a side note, we're now less than 60 days our from closing so we were able to lock in an amazing mortgage rate of 4.5%....woooohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
(Please send donations now). ha!

Don't tell, but we finally did some graffiti on some random lumber scraps. That's what they get for leaving orange spray paint around. Such rebels we are.

Looks beautiful, you two. It has come a long way since we were there. The cabinets, fireplace, and railings all look gorgeous. I guess if we can't find Beth when we come to visit, we'll have to look in the closet. "Hellooooo in there!!!!!" Congrats!! - JP's
