2 weekends ago we had SUCH a lovely diversion - our good friends Jason and Lisa, who are expecting, revealed the gender of their baby in such a special way. This pregnancy is such a miracle anyway and we're all celebrating the fact this little jelly bean (as they call is) is even in existence, and to find out the gender was so incredibly special.
We got together for a nice little BBQ, it was lovely just to see everybody and talk about something other than my inner ear crystals. It's too bad none of us like each other.

At the end of lunch, Jason and Lisa gave a sweet speech and then cut into the cake to show us the big reveal...I'll let the video tell you. Other than Jason waving the knife around - ha!- the video makes me cry every time. First here's all of us dying for the big reveal - wait for it...

Rob and I had gotten two presents for them, just for fun, and I have to say gift-wise, they definitely scored the better one :) MAN, I'm such a sucker for baby bikinis!!!
